The visit to the caves lasts between 35 and 40 minutes, and a group enters every half hour approximately. The visits are guided, and the explanations are given in different languages: Spanish, English, French and German.
The temperature in the cave varies between 17*c and 22*c, with a high humidity of 80%. These values remain fairly stable throughout the year.
The Caves of Artá have a horizontal route of over 700 metres and an approximate surface area of 6,000 m2.
The heights of the rooms range from 15 metres to 45 metres.
FAQ
Residents of the Balearic Islands must prove their age by showing their DNI or similar document.
Children between 7 and 12 years of age must prove their age by showing their ID card or similar document.
